Electromagnetic (EM) signatures are mostly exploited for naval ships in marine warfare. Naval vessels are required to be designed to meet the requirements of static magnetic (low frequency) and Radar Cross Section (high frequency) signatures depending upon the intended operation of the vessels. Numerical simulations of these signature predictions at design stage can help in meeting the stringent naval requirements as well as meeting operational requirements. IRClass has developed simulation capabilities in this complex area. Requirements such as EM signature, ICCP studies, RCS signature prediction are dealt by IRClass.
IRClass along with Altair has initiated this seminar to spread awareness amongst stakeholders about the EM signature prediction and relevant studies at design stage.
